While bear attacks are rare, they do happen. Just this month, a hiker who went missing in Montana’s Glacier National Park was found dead after a suspected bear attack. In a separate incident, two hikers were injured in a suspected grizzly bear attack while visiting Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
