VIENNA — Bulgaria triumphed on Saturday night at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, held under the shadow of controversy over the continued participation of Israel.

Bulgaria has won the 70th Eurovision Song Contest — the country's first-ever win.

Ultimately, the 27-year-old enjoyed a truly decisive win, finishing 173 points ahead of Israel’s Noam Bettan – the biggest ever winning margin in the contest’s history.
